SureFlap tunnel extenders can be used to create a longer approach tunnel to your cat flap when it is installed in a wall. It fits snugly onto the tunnel of the cat flap and multiple extenders can be stacked together to form a tunnel of any length. The SureFlap microchip cat flap’s and Dual Scan’s tunnels are 70mm (2.75”) long and each tunnel extender adds 50mm (2“) to the length of the cat flap’s tunnel.

The SureFlap cat flap’s have been designed as a drop-in replacement for most existing cat flaps. However, in some instances you may find that the hole left by your previous cat flap is larger than the hole required for SureFlap. The SureFlap mounting adapter provides a neat way to cover such a hole. When mounting the cat flap in a glass pane, we here at Pet Access Solutions or your glazier will generally cut a circular hole, leaving open areas around the corners of your cat flap. The SureFlap mounting adapter covers these open areas, preventing loss of heat from your home and providing a clean, neat finish to your installation. Also Required for Metal door installations.

The SureFlap Pet Door Mounting Adapter is useful when installing your pet door into glass and metal door types. A mounting adapter is not required for wall installations, as the door has an internal screw hole for wall mounting. When mounting your pet door in a glass pane, your glazier will generally cut a circular hole, leaving open areas around the corners of your pet door. The optimum hole size for mounting in glass is 300mm in diameter. The mounting adapter can cover hole sizes ranging from 294mm to 320mm in diameter and by covering these open area’s prevents loss of heat from your home and provides a clean, neat finish to your installation. The total diameter of the mounting adapter is 380mm (15″). Each pet door mounting adapter includes two parts, one for the interior and one for the exterior of your home.

We recommend using the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door, Cat Doors, and Feeder with your pet’s veterinary inserted microchip. However if your pet is not micro chipped, the SureFlap RFID collar tag is available as an alternative. SureFlap RFID collar tags contain a code that is unique to your pet so that if other pets in the neighbourhood have a SureFlap collar tag, or any other type of collar tag used in selective pet doors, they will not be able to gain access. Each pack contains two collar tags, weighs just 2g, and is waterproof/shock proof.

The PlexiDor sliding tracks with flip lock makes mounting the security plate a breeze. The tracks attach to the dog door’s interior frame, and the security plate slides down to its optimal position. Fasten the plate with the handy flip lock, and you’re done. The PlexiDor sliding tracks are made of strong and durable aluminum that matches the pet door frame. Hardware for track installation is included, but not the security plate itself; the plate is delivered with the dog door.
